About SafeSpace

SafeSpace is a 501© non-profit United Way organization serving victims of domestic violence in Martin, St. Lucie, and Indian River counties in Florida. In addition to a 48-bed Emergency Shelter, SafeSpace also provides a Supportive Living program for individuals in need of longer-term housing as well as outreach services for those who choose not to enter a shelter but whose lives are being affected by domestic violence.

Program participants are provided with the information and counseling SafeSpace offers through its many programs and services. In addition, they are made aware of various local support services available to assist them in creating an independent life free from violence.

SafeSpace, Inc. shall never deny services to victims of domestic violence and their dependents based on race, gender, age, religion, political belief, national origin, immigration status, physical or mental disability, marital status, sexual orientation or language spoken.

SafeSpace provides services without discrimination and provides accommodations in accordance with ADA requirements.

SafeSpace offers victims of domestic violence safety, support and education, empowering them to create an independent life, free from violence. SafeSpace is the only Certified domestic violence Center saving lives 24/7 and preventing domestic violence throughout the Treasure Coast.
